History of Our Club
Inland Empire Bassmasters formed in 1972 and has been conducting monthly club tournaments since its inception. Some great
anglers have fished with us including Fishing Ventures Host and Fish Talk Radio Host Ron Kovach, local pro Dave Nollar, and
pro fisherman/owner of Sweetwater baits, Dave Mitchell. In the mid 1980's, the club won the Western Region Top 6 tournament
and went to the midwest and won the National Top 6 event winning 6 boats for the team. Inland Empire Bassmasters hosts an
annual Kid's Tournament every fall that draws around 150 kids from the community and treats them and their families to a day
of fishing, a casting contest, a huge barbecue lunch, and awards and prizes for every child.
